Rebecca Rattcliff, 38, arranged the mini-break with five schoolgate chums — two named Danielle, plus Lauren, Laura and Fay.

Their “Sunday Funday” involved a 6am flight from Manchester, returning from Ibiza at 11pm the same day — in time for a kip before the Monday morning school run and work.

Travel consultant and mum-of-four Rebecca, said: “We were keen to look for a good deal and everybody loves the Ibiza sunshine.

“We found Ryanair flights, and we knew that for everyone to be able to come it had to be on a Sunday.”

The pals — who have 15 kids between them — booked the flights in February for their March 26 trip.

They only had to take a handbag.

They paid £10 each for a return minibus to Manchester airport and were picked up in Ibiza by a transfer firm — paying £23 each to travel around the island.

The friends started with a meal at Passion cafe in Ibiza Town and then went to San Antonio bay.

Rebecca said: “We had brunch and explored the marina.

“Quite a lot of the shops were shut but it was scenic and beautiful.

“We had cocktails overlooking the marina and then the transfer bus drove us to San Antonio.”

The group sunbathed on the beach using biodegradable towels that roll up into your handbag.

She added: “We ended up doing 26,000 steps just exploring and then we went for a beautiful dinner.”

The ladies watched the sunset at Café Mambo before being picked up to go back to the airport.

Rebecca, of Manchester, added: “We were so blessed with the weather — the sky was cloudless.

“It was such a good day.

“I spent time in gorgeous company with supportive friends all on the mum journey together.

“We all felt we’d been there longer than a day.

“You feel refreshed after 12 hours in the sunshine.”
