Disney fans will be thrilled with the next free update, scheduled for early April!

Beyond animated films and countless live-action remakes, Disney is also about video games. We think in particular of Disney Dreamlight Valley. Available in early access since September 6, 2022, the title is quite popular on Steam. Its universe is divided into several distinct areas, inspired by some of the firm’s most popular animated films. And soon, Snow White, Buzz Lightyear or Moana will be joined by two long-awaited newcomers!

A big update that will arrive sooner than expected

Disney Dreamlight Valley should be available in its full version by the end of 2023. As a reminder, the Gameloft and Disney Interactive title will then go into free-to-play. In the meantime, its beta therefore continues to be supplied with content. At the start of the year, the developers had teased the arrival of a new free update. And the program is promising: “a new kingdom opens, new characters arrive in the Valley, and more surprises”. Vague, the promise still has something to seduce. All these novelties will indeed be linked to the world of Lion King ! The reputation of Disney’s animated films – and in particular the first – is well established.

On the other hand, we were still waiting to know when this update would land. Usually, you have to wait about two months between each update. However, the last came out in mid-February. But Gameloft has a nice surprise in store for you, since the wait will be a little shorter this time. On Twitter, we learn that the fourth big update of Disney Dreamlight Valley will be released on Wednesday, April 5! Only a few more days to wait, then.

What to expect from the new Disney Dreamlight Valley update?

If we have to recognize one thing about Gameloft, it’s that the studio doesn’t overbid. The communication around the arrival of the Lion King is quite discreet, so much so that we have seen very little about him. For the most impatient, you will still find below a little teaser to put in your mouth. What we do know is that Simba and Nala will be the two new playable characters. They will carry the total of Disney characters Dreamlight Valley at 25. they will be accompanied by the arrival of a new Way of the Stars, the game’s season pass. The opportunity to unlock the eternal skins, clothing and other additional items. Be careful though, this season pass must be purchased with premium money. We’ll have to farm to be ready on April 5th!
