MANCHESTER UNITED are considering a move for Sporting Lisbon youngster Abdul Fatawu Issahaku, according to reports.
The winger has broken into the Portuguese side this season with six appearances in all competition, including two in the Champions League.
Issahaku also has 13 caps for Ghana and could be set to star at the World Cup later this month.
United could keep a close eye on him in Qatar after sending acouts to watch him play, according to O Jogo.
Liverpool are also keeping tabs on the wonderkid and the Reds were said to be keen on Issahaku before he joined Sporting in the summer.
Two other Premier League clubs are believed to be interested in the 18-year-old – Everton and Tottenham.
The Toffees could even look to bring in Issahaku as a replacement for Antony Gordon amid links to Spurs.
As for United, Erik ten Hag is believed to be prioritising a new striker in January.
United’s business could be dependent on their ability to attract a buyer for Cristiano Ronaldo, but that has not stopped the club identifying targets.
Bayern Munich forward Eric Choupo-Moting is a player they would like to sign.
