Kane breaks record before Haaland

Harry Kane has achieved a small feat this season in the Premier League.

Harry Kane will not finish as the Premier League’s top scorer this season, as Erling Haaland has long since killed the suspense. But the Tottenham striker also achieves a sacred championship.

Author of a superb free kick against Brentford, Kane also set a record by scoring in his 25th game of the season in the league. This had never happened in the history of the Premier League. It proves that Kane has scored very often this season, even though he hasn’t scored as many hat-tricks as Haaland to inflate his tally.

Scorer 36 times this season, Haaland has scored in 23 different games. He can therefore match or even surpass Kane if he strikes against Chelsea, Brighton and Brentford. Kane, for his part, can still improve his total on the last day against Leeds.
