A procession of ants crossing your terrace, or worse your living room, is not very pleasant.

1. Masking tape
An army of ants is marching towards your box of cakes on your table or something sweet in the cupboard? To catch them, simply create a “bulwark” around the object by surrounding it with tape placed sticky side up.
2. Baking soda
Baking soda is very effective against an ant invasion in the home. If the ants have taken up residence in your home, sprinkle the holes or cracks through which they pass with baking soda mixed with sugar. It’s a powerful trick to kill them, even in the anthill.

Ants hate the calcium carbonate in chalk, which is actually the compressed shells of sea animals. Scatter chalk powder around garden plants to repel ants and slugs. Also ideal around your salads or strawberries!
Sprinkle a line of flour in the bottom of your cupboards or shelves. Anywhere you see ants entering the house, you can use this method. Ants hate flour and will not cross this natural barrier.
5. A flowerpot
Red ants invade your garden or terrace. And are you tired of getting bitten? To oust them, a terracotta flower pot will be your ally! Place the pot upside down on the anthill. Pour boiling water through the drain hole to scald the anthill.

If ants make their way to your home, intercept them by spreading salt in front of doors or directly in their path. Ants will not dare cross this barrier.
