– 200g of baking soda

– 20 cl of white vinegar

– 200 g of salt (or coarse salt)

– 1 basin of boiling water

How to do

1. Mix the baking soda, salt and vinegar in a container.

2. Pour this mixture down the clogged drain.

3. Wait a good half hour.

4. Pour the basin of boiling water down the pipe.

– If there is still a difficulty, put a few strokes of suction cup on the drain hole of the pipe of your kitchen sink, or your clogged washbasin.

– In case of big cap, you can use a furyt, a hose or a Kärcher. The unclogging ferret can be a good option to unclog the pipe of the dishwasher, the washing machine or an inaccessible pipe (or almost!).

By choosing white vinegar to unclog the toilet or the sink with salt and baking soda, not only are you sure of the result, but it costs almost nothing.

Both bicarbonate and salt are worth a ridiculous price per kilo: 4 €. Vinegar costs even less, approximately 50 cents per liter.
