As she had already described in her autobiography in 2014, the actress explains that the former tennis champion hastily left the shoot, before going to their home where he began to destroy his trophies in a fit of rage. “It was petulant behavior,” she says. “In the scene, I had to suck on Joey’s fingers, because they’re the fingers of a genius, and I want to devour them, because I’m crazy,” she recalls. It was at this precise moment that Andre Agassi left the scene. Before he explains to her the reasons for his anger.
“He said to me, ‘Everyone is laughing at me. You make me look like an idiot by behaving like this. I explained to him that I was simply playing comedy. I will learn later that he was addicted to methamphetamines at that time, and that this irrational behavior was certainly due to that, ”she continues. Brooke Shields would marry Andre Agassi in May 1997, before their divorce two years later.
