Courted for many months by the Algerian Federation, Houssem Aouar would have finally made his choice. According to newspaper information The Team, the Lyonnais would have chosen to play for the Fennecs. A choice he should announce in the next few hours.

Back from injury, Houssem Aouar could however not appear in the next list of Djamel Belmadi for the double confrontation against Niger (March 23 and 27).

As a reminder, Houssem Aouar has a selection with the France team. He had participated in the friendly match against Ukraine at the end of 2020 (7-1 victory for the Blues). But having not played an official match with the Blues, the player trained at OL thus has the possibility of changing his sporting nationality.
