Stranger tells the story of Hwang Si-Mok, a prosecutor who no longer feels any emotion due to brain surgery he suffered as a child. The man will be led to investigate a case mixing corruption and murder which directly involves the Seoul West office, where he exercises. In Stranger, Cho Seung Woo delivers a masterful performance, as does Bae Doona. The Korean star (Sense8, Kingdom, The Host…) plays a major role in this absolutely fascinating thriller. The exquisite staging completely immerses us in Stranger, a series that plays with the viewer by multiplying the reversals of the situation.
