A PHOTO of shamed royal Prince Andrew posing with his alleged teenage sex victim is genuine, the photographer who copied it insisted last night.

He has suggested the image of him with his arm around 17-year-old Virginia Roberts was altered.

Andrew, then 41, is seen grinning with Virginia at sex trafficker Ghislaine Maxwell’s mews house in Belgravia, London, in 2001.
Virginia showed it ten years later to news photographer Michael Thomas.

The snapper branded claims by Andrew and jailed sex trafficker Ghislaine Maxwell the original could be fake as “ridiculous” and “absurd”.

The original is said to have a date stamp showing it was developed on March 13, 2001, three days after it is alleged Virginia had sex with Andrew.

Mr Thomas told The Mail on Sunday: “For Ghislaine to say it was fake is ridiculous.”
